Seven years ago, two mates—Matt and Rowan—started selling premium Aussie Christmas trees in Sydney to bring joy and support local families. But every year, the only tree stands available were cheap, flimsy overseas models or imported ones from America. Neither cut the mustard.
After moving to Noosa, Matt teamed up with his good mate Greg—a skilled Aussie toolmaker and designer. When Matt pitched the idea of an Aussie-made stand, Greg thought it over for a day… then jumped in feet first. The result? Tree Mate: Australia's first premium, locally made Christmas tree stand. It holds more water, sets up quick, offers optional extra stability, and is made from recycled plastic. Tough, clever, and built for Aussie homes.
